FPC LIVE AND MILWAUKEE BUCKS FORM JOINT VENTURE TO OPEN NEW ENTERTAINMENT VENUES IN DEER DISTRICT

May 23, 2022

MILWAUKEE (May 23, 2022) – Two new concert venues, to be developed and operated by renowned Wisconsin-based promoter and venue operator FPC Live, in a joint venture with the Milwaukee Bucks, will open in Deer District in late 2023. Construction on these two venues, one with an approximate capacity of 4,000 and the other with an estimated capacity of 800, is slated to begin later this year and will be located in the northeast section of the former Bradley Center.

As part of Frank Productions, FPC Live operates the company’s owned-and-operated venues and creates, produces and promotes live entertainment events in clubs, arenas, performing arts centers, amphitheaters and stadiums across the country. As Wisconsin’s largest concert promoter, FPC Live, alongside parent company Frank Productions and its partner, Live Nation, produce nearly 550 events annually in Wisconsin, including at Fiserv Forum.

“We are excited to further enhance the relationship between FPC Live and the Milwaukee Bucks with the addition of these two spectacular venues,” said Michael Belot, Senior Vice President of Bucks Ventures and Development. “Deer District serves as a destination that’s redefining downtown Milwaukee, and bringing two new venues to Deer District will continue to solidify it as Milwaukee’s premiere location for entertainment.”

These venues will provide a wide variety of first-class experiences and amenities for eventgoers and artists. FPC Live estimates these venues will host more than 135 events per year, bringing an additional 200,000 fans annually to downtown Milwaukee, positively impacting local businesses.

“The Milwaukee Bucks and Deer District have continued to be incredible partners since the opening of Fiserv Forum in 2018, and they share in FPC Live’s vision for Milwaukee’s growth in the hospitality and entertainment ecosystem,” said Charlie Goldstone, President of FPC Live. “We’re excited to add exponential value to the thriving Deer District, further enhancing the vibrancy of downtown Milwaukee. FPC Live has been committed to working with the community to find the ideal placement for these modern entertainment venues, and we found it.”

FPC Live has estimated a cost of $50 million for the project and will not request any financial assistance from the City of Milwaukee. These venues anticipate to create more than 500 construction jobs during construction, as well as bring several dozen full-time jobs and 600 part-time jobs.  The venues will also serve as FPC Live’s headquarters in Milwaukee.
