MILWAUKEE (Jan. 31, 2024) – Doggy Day, sponsored by Central Bark and Tito’s Handmade Vodka, returns to Deer District on Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Doggy Day will benefit Winston’s Wishes and its mission to help local pups in need while celebrating 10 years of “Winston’s Wishes Coming True” for Milwaukee’s homeless dogs. Winston’s Wishes is a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization that focuses on supporting dogs who aren’t doing well in the busy shelter environment, senior dogs, or dogs who need extra care. As a proud MADACC transfer partner, Winston’s Wishes is focused on helping dogs in need right here in our local community.

Central Bark provides day care, dog training and salon and spa services to allow dogs to get the love and care needed to help them be healthy, happy and well-rounded.

The third annual event will include 80 local vendors, food trucks and beverages, entertainment from DJ Gee-A, prizes and activities for all furry friends to enjoy. The exciting day will be emceed by local radio personalities, Alley & DZ. Doggy Day is free and open to the public and their well-socialized, leashed dogs. The event organizers kindly ask owners to refrain from retractable leashes and aversive collars.
